The BERNINA 570 QE has been crafted around the needs of sewers who piece and quilt regularly. It’s a medium-sized model engineered for precision with innovative features quilters need for flawless results.
The included BERNINA Stitch Regulator maintains even free-motion stitches at any speed. The knee lifter and hover function let you reposition work without removing your hands from the fabric, which is especially useful for appliqué and precision quilting detailing. BERNINA’s adaptive thread tension automatically adjusts for different fabrics which means your stitches look professional through multiple layers even at fast sewing speeds.
The stitch package of 1,450 built-in designs, including 73 quilting stitches, 450 decorative stitches and 8 alphabets, covers everything you need for a stunning quilt to a tailored jacket. The front-loading jumbo bobbin holds 70% more thread than a standard bobbin for less interruptions when working on large-scale projects.
BERNINA Dual Feed (BDF) is built into the machine, feeding fabric simultaneously from top and bottom. This is particularly useful when working through multiple layers or fabrics that tend to shift under a standard presser foot.
The 8.5-inch (215mm) workspace to the right of the needle gives you room to manoeuvre larger quilt tops with ease. The intuitive 4.3-inch colour touchscreen displays stitch previews, foot recommendations and settings clearly. An optional embroidery module can be added later, expanding the machine to include 250 built-in embroidery designs and a 400 x 150mm embroidery area.
The 570 QE runs at 1,000 stitches per minute with bobbin winding available while sewing, keeping downtime to a minimum during large projects. The automatic thread cutter, start/stop button, slide speed control and needle up/down function put the most-used controls within reach, so you spend less time adjusting and more time sewing.
